Resort Hotels Guests staying in the Green Hotel Golf & Leisure Resort can choose to stay in one of the two hotels on the Resort. Both hotels are situated adjacent to one another, 200m apart. Regardless of which hotel they stay in, guests are able to enjoy complimentary membership of our Gravity Leisure Club and make use of all the other facilities available on the Resort.
The Green Hotel 4*
The Green Hotel is a former 17th Century coaching inn and was, in days of yore, a key coaching stop on the main road from Edinburgh heading north to the Highlands. Although it has expanded significantly since then, it retains a very traditional feel and offers 4 star accommodation. The hotel has 46 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. The rooms also have flat screen TVs, tea & coffee making facilities, trouser press, hair dryer etc. In addition, there is also a 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps 4) within the hotel grounds which is available either on a self-catering, half board or full board basis.
The Windlestrae Hotel has been part of the Resort since 2006 and is of a more contemporary design than its sister hotel, The Green. Originally a private house, it was converted into a hotel in the 1980s. The Windlestrae has 47 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. As with the Green Hotel, the rooms also have flat screen TVs, tea & coffee making facilities, trouser press, hair dryer etc.
Location of FacilitiesAll guests can use all facilities throughout the Resort, regardless of which of the 2 hotels they are staying in. The location of the key facilities are detailed below:
Dogs
There is a £20 fee for having your dog in your room (regardless of the length of stay) to allow us more time for any necessary cleaning. It covers also a 'Doggie Welcome Pack' with bowls, chews and a welcome letter advising where dogs are allowed on the Resort |

We do have a number of ground floor bedrooms in both hotels where dogs are permitted to stay.
