Curling

On our four sheet curling rink you can learn the "Roaring Game". This game was started in Scotland in the Middle-Ages and our rink is the present home of Kinross Curling Club, the oldest in Scotland, dating from 1668.

Curling used to be held on the ice on outside ponds, but with 'global warming' it is now played mainly on indoor rinks.

Interest in curling in this country has soared since Rhona Martin and her team so magnificently won a gold medal in the Ladies Curling Competition at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Why not come and play or see how to do it?
