With 43 relaxing rooms and two amazing 18-hole golf courses to play, we are a firm favourite for golfers who return year after year.
Located in the Heartland of Scotland, we are less than an hour away from St Andrews, Gleneagles, Kingsbarns, Carnoustie and Muirfield, making us the ideal base for extended golfing holidays and tours.
We can offer golfers twin, single occupancy, triple room, Jack & Jill or feature room options and we are currently undergoing a programme of refurbishment.
And for those rainy days we enjoy so much in Scotland, where better to dry off your shoes, waterproofs and bags than our dedicated, secure drying room situated on the ground floor.
Parking your car or, if you’re travelling by coach, is never a problem here at The Green Hotel. We have a large car park at the front of the Hotel which also features Electric Vehicle charging points.
We are incredibly fortunate to have two amazing 18-hole courses – both within striking distance of our Hotel – the Montgomery and the Bruce. Having two courses means our golfers will never get bored playing the same one during their stay – ideal for those on a longer stay golf break.
Both courses provide our golfers with their own unique challenges. And, if you ask any of our golfers who have played both the Montgomery and the Bruce which of the two they prefer, you will certainly have sparked a real debate.
This course starts off with a Par 3 with a raised green and deep bunkers on either side, making it difficult, even for low handicap golfers. Even the slightest mistake can be costly.
However, when you get to the 15th and 16th with their breath-taking views, it makes it all worth it.
Don’t let the four Par 5s on the outward nine give you false hope – they’re Par 5s for very good reason. The Bruce Course is designed to challenge low handicap golfers as well as offering an enjoyable round for the occasional golfer.
We also have a practice putting area and practice nets available for all our golfers to use.
When you book your golf break with us, our Golf Coordinator will work with you to tailor your package to suit you. So, there’s no need to speak to someone different to book your preferred tee times, buggies or any additional catering you might need that’s not included as part of your dinner, bed and breakfast package – your dedicated Golf Coordinator will do all of that for you.
