Green_1.jpgIn the 18th and 19th century, The Green was a coaching inn and the Defiance stagecoach, which ran between Queensferry and Perth, changed horses at the Green Inn. The liveried horses were stabled in the buildings on Green Road.

Nowadays, the Resort is more modern with a variety of activities on offer. The Green Hotel, traditional with spacious bedrooms and our new contemporary Jock's restaurant.

Across the road, the Windlestrae has a more contemporary feel with Rushes Bar, a relaxing space and Gravity Health & Leisure Club.

Our two golf courses, The Bruce & The Montgomery, are available all year round with Loch Leven within half a miles walk from either hotel. The Loch offers brown trout fishing and the chance to see migratory pink-footed geese during Autumn. Our Boathouse, which offers light bites and drinks, is situated on the shores of the Loch and offers stunning views of the Lomond hills and the Loch itself.
